Tada(teenagers against drug abuse) Learners Lead Anti-Drug Awareness Programme at Morning Assembly

On the morning of 16 February 2026, learners from Tada at Seatides Combined School conducted an impactful anti-drug awareness programme during the school’s morning assembly.

The programme focused on the importance of attending school regularly and completing one’s education in order to obtain a matric certificate. Learners highlighted the negative effects of drug consumption, the dangers of negative peer influence, and the pressure young people often face to engage in harmful behaviours. Emphasis was also placed on making responsible decisions that contribute to a positive and successful future.

Special guests from Jump Youth addressed the learners, reinforcing messages of drug prevention, the importance of education, and making healthy lifestyle choices. Their contribution further strengthened the anti-drug campaign and encouraged learners to seek positive support systems.

The programme concluded with a strong message from the learners of Seatides Combined School:
“We say no to drugs, alcohol, narcotics, and bullying.”

This initiative demonstrated the commitment of Tada learners to promoting a safe, supportive, and drug-free school environment.
